An often raised point is that the sailing experience was not as smooth, clear, or responsive as expected. This update (hopefully) changes that. Expect improved navigation UI and a better handled and visually represented sailing.

What's inside?

• Ships 🚢
  • Sailing - You will now have to hold down your Up/Down Arrow Keys 🔼🔽⌨️ to maintain your speed. To offset this, you can now type answers while holding your Arrow Keys ⌨️, without affecting your writing.
  • Speed - Your sailing velocity is now represented in knots. Among other things, this allows you to also compare the speed between the different ships you sail. 'X' Key ⌨️ no longer stops your ship.
  • Rotation - Your rotation rate is now represented by the degrees on your ship's rudder! Your rudder has a turning rate and will go down to 0 if Left/Right Arrow Keys ◀️▶️⌨️ are released.
  • Stability - Your ships are now much more stable while sailing. No more uncontrollable tilt and unceasing rocking after a hard turn.

  • Shooting - Strength of shots adjusted.

  • Repetition - New way of distributing player questions should reduce the sometimes experienced repetition.

  • Movement - Animation and marker no longer glitching on slower machines.
